Sony and Polyphony Digital have rolled out an update for Gran Turismo Sport. And as promised, it packs a whole bunch of new cars into the latest racing simulator. There’s thirteen new sets of wheels in all, including some tempting digital machinery.

Most of the new additions to the garage are either Super GT touring cars, new versions of the Red Bull X2014 fantasy racer, or incarnations of the Nissan GT-R. And we have no problem with any of those, of course. But they’re not all this new update is about.

Along with them, the new Aston Martin DB11 joins the game, together with the Lexus RC F GT3, 1966 Ford GT40 MkI, 1989 BMW M3 Sport Evolution, and 1990 Mazda RX-7 GT-X. There’s also an awesome-looking one-off Ford Mustang custom rod called the March 40 (more on which we’ll bring you later).

While they were at it, the developers added Japan’s Tsubuka circuit (near Tokyo), a new VR Time Trial mode, cherry blossom trees to the virtual landscaping function, and Mini and Renaultsport museums to the brands section. There are three new GT League levels as well: namely the GT-R Cup, Red Bull X-Junior Series, and All-Japan GT Car Championship. Hence the new versions of the Super GT-spec Lexus RC F, Nissan GT-R, and Honda NSX, the X2014 (standard and junior), and the Nismo GT-R and Skyline GT-R V Spec.

Update 1.15 launches this month, and you can bet there’ll be more to come in subsequent updates in the future. But you can check out all these additions in the images and video below.
