Given that it originally hit assembly all the way back in 2007 (oh yes, time does fly…), the Nissan GT-R has aged quite nicely.
More importantly, besides the very appealing exterior design, which combines curves with sharp lines, it’s still very competitive, even by today’s standards, having been updated by Nissan quite a few times to keep it relevant. And with a little know-how, and the right budget, it can become even faster.
However, the example that Forgiato has recently brought forward doesn’t have an insane power figure. Instead, it sports new rims, a new bumper and side skirts, privacy windows and sits impossibly low to the ground.
The Forgiato rims are from the Monoleggera series and are said to have been “crafted from a solid block of forged aluminum, which makes them ultra durable and exceptionally light”. As usual, the wheels can be had in different sizes and colors, and the owner of this GT-R chose bronze, which doesn’t look half bad combined with the white bodywork.
Now, about that ride height: this ‘Godzilla’ has been equipped with an adjustable air suspension that’s supposed to allow the driver to “hit the track and Sunday” and “deal with a few potholes” the day after. So, we guess that’s their lowest setting and is just for show, as it wouldn’t clear a wet newspaper even on a baby smooth road surface.
