Ford’s Ranger lineup in Australia has grown with the addition of the new Sport Special Edition. The model slots between the XLS and XLT 4×4 and carries an AUD $52,940 (USD $37,193) starting price with a manual gearbox, or AUD $55,140 (USD $38,739) with the automatic.

The extra AUD $6,000 ($4,215) of value over the XLS is represented by the visual updates and added tech. Thus, the new Ranger Sport Special Edition comes with a True Red paintwork, joined by the Meteor Grey, Arctic White, Shadow Black and Aluminum Metallic.
