A Porsche 911 that is reimagined by Singer shows what you can get if money is no object and you’re limited only by your imagination.

Singer Vehicle Design has been producing truly superb 911 models for many years now and Jay Leno recently had the opportunity to test out one of its most recent creations, the Singer ‘Honor Roll Commission.’

The car started out life as a 1992 Porsche 911 Targa before being restored and upgraded by Singer. This is one of only a handful of 911 Targa models that Singer has worked its magic on and unsurprisingly, Leno seems extremely fond of it. We don’t blame him as this is not just one of Singer’s finest creations but it is also one of the very finest Porsche 911s you’re likely to find anywhere in the world.

Driving the classic sports car is a 4.0-liter air-cooled flat-six engine built by Ed Pink Racing Engines and delivering 390 hp. While it’s no longer uncommon to find modern-day supercars pumping out over 700 hp, a car as compact as a classic 911 doesn’t need any more than 400 hp. Adding to the perfect powertrain recipe is a six-speed manual transmission that drives the rear wheels.

The interior is equally as beautiful as the exterior. Singer has re-trimmed the cabin in orange leather across the seats, door panels, and part of the dashboard. There is also a lovely three-spoke steering wheel featured and a custom audio system that gives the car the sort of sound quality you would expect from a modern Porsche.
