2021 Vauxhall Combo-e Life Electric MPV Goes On Sale In The UK From £31,610

Vauxhall has officially opened the order books for the 2021 Combo-e Life. The electric MPV starts at £31,610 ($44,575) on-the-road and deliveries will kick off in October.

Based on the ICE-powered model, it packs a 50 kWh battery that powers a 136 PS (134 HP / 100 kW) and 260 Nm (192 lb-ft) of torque electric motor. The battery supports 100 kW fast charging, which enables an 80 percent charge in 30 minutes, and offers a range of 280 km (174 miles) on the WLTP test cycle.

The 2021 Combo-e Life is offered in a single trim level, the SE, and two sizes, Medium and XL. The former can be specified with five or seven seats, while the latter is offered exclusively with seating for seven. All of them feature a standard 7.4 kWh on-board charger or an optional 11 kWh charger. They ride on 16-inch alloy wheels and get LED DRLs with high-beam assist, body-colored bumpers and protection mouldings, electrically adjustable and foldable side mirrors, a reversing camera and rain-sensing wipers.

An 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, sits on the dashboard, and a 3.5-inch color instrument display and Vauxhall Connect, which allows drivers to access critical vehicle information and brings emergency or breakdown call tech, are also included. Automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, speed sign recognition, cruise control with speed limiter and rear parking sensors are the safety gizmos that come standard on the Combo-e Life.

On a related note, Vauxhall’s sister company Opel has also announced the pricing of the Combo-e Life in Belgium, where it can be had from €36,000 ($43,580) in the same specification.
