In recent years, the Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R has established itself as a must-have JDM icon and as such, prices of used examples have skyrocketed. Soon, a particularly rare example that is essentially brand new as it has delivery mileage on it (6 miles or 10 km) will head to auction and could prove to be the most expensive R34 ever sold.

This GT-R is a rare V-Spec II Nur model and one of just 718 examples that were ever manufactured. Of these, just 159 were painted in white like this car and the car will soon be auctioned off through BH Auction in Japan.

The listing only provides limited details about the car but does confirm that in addition to the car’s extraordinarily low mileage, it’s also never been registered. Further adding to the desirability of the car is the fact that it has been equipped with Nissan’s N1 version of its famed RB26DETT engine. This N1 variant of the engine has a newly-balanced crankshaft, better water and oil channels within the engine block, upgraded pistons and top piston rings, new turbochargers, and upgraded camshafts.

Nissan introduced the Skyline V-Spec II Nur for the R34’s final production year. Named after the Nurburgring, a standard model pumps out 330 hp from its inline-six but the N1 engine added some extra grunt. Other upgrades made to the V-Spec II Nur included stiffer suspension, enlarged brakes, and a carbon fiber hood.

Last year, a similar Skyline GT-R V-Spec II, albeit one painted in Millenium Jade, was listed online for a cool $485,000. That car had just 362 km (225 miles) on the clock and while it still remains up for grabs, we wouldn’t be shocked if this even-lower mileage example sells for over half a million dollars.
