Update: Jeremy Clarkson has taken to Twitter and revealed that a second season has not been confirmed.

It appears as though Clarkson’s Farm has already been renewed for a second season.

The latest program presented by Jeremy Clarkson only recently landed on Amazon Prime and follows The Grand Tour host over a 12-month period as he manages his expansive farm in the UK. It has been extremely well-received, so much so that its rating on IMDB sits at 9.30/10, well above the 8.7/10 rating of The Grand Tour, and making it one of the top 30 best-rated TV shows on the platform.

Amazon appears to be so pleased with the reception to Clarkson’s Farm that it has been renewed for a second season, The Sun reports.

“Jeremy is Amazon’s golden boy and a new series is already in the pipeline,” an unnamed source told the UK publication. “It’s rated five stars on Amazon and has a 9.3 rating on IMDB, which is practically unheard of. It means Jeremy’s fellow farmers Kaleb, ‘Cheerful’ Charlie and Gerald will all be in front of cameras on the farm again.”

The first season of Clarkson’s Farm is well worth watching and shows the trials and tribulations that JC encounters when running his farm with little to no experience. He also had to deal with extraordinarily poor weather conditions throughout the year and after splurging on many big-ticket pieces of farming equipment, barely managed to break even.

Fans of Clarkson can expect to see him back in action with James May and Richard Hammond as a new special of The Grand Tour premieres later this year.
