It has been more than eight years since the reveal of the La Ferrari at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show and Ferrari is probably working on its successor, but we still stand in awe every time we see an example of the holy trinity of modern hypercars. The admiration is emphasized when the specification is right, like in this 2015 La Ferrari finished in the gorgeous Giallo Triplo Strato paint.

This special La Ferrari is offered for sale from Pagani Beverly Hills at an eye-watering price of $4,199,000 – which is almost three times the original MSRP ($1,420,000). The fact that this car has been driven for only 135 miles (217 km) since new proves that the previous owners have spent more time looking at it than sitting behind the wheel. Back in 2017, the same car was auctioned in Amelia Island with 122 miles (196 km) on the clock.

This might not be the only yellow Ferrari in existence – there is at least one painted in Giallo Modena and another one in a different shade of yellow – but it is definitely one of the most striking thanks to the Giallo Triplo Strato exterior shade. The bright yellow bodywork is contrasting the dark-finished five-spoke rims, the carbon-fiber roof, and the several optional carbon-fiber parts (roof, mirrors, front spoiler, wheel hubs, etc).

Inside, there is Nero black upholstery with yellow touches, the prancing horse embossed on the headrests, and a carbon-fiber dashboard. Equipment includes automatic climate control, a Harman/Kardon sound system with four speakers, Bluetooth connectivity, a digital instrument cluster, illuminated entry, power windows, keyless entry, a passenger vanity mirror, and more. The pictures suggest that the car is in impeccable condition and the only defect we were able to find is a small mark on the passenger bucket seat.

As a reminder, the La Ferrari is fitted with a naturally aspirated V12 and a KERS unit producing a combined 950 hp (708 kW / 963 PS) 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque. According to Ferrari, it does the 0-100 km/h sprint in under 3 seconds and has a top speed of 350 km/h.

While $4 million could fetch you many beautiful and highly capable exotics from automakers like Bugatti, McLaren, Koenigsegg, Pagani, or Porsche, this La Ferrari is hard to pass by if you are in the market for a flagship hypercar. So the real question is this: would you buy it in this vibrant color, or do you prefer a more traditional red shade?
