Mazda has a lot of fans around the world but the owner of this house must be a rotary engine fanatic judging from the size of his Mazda RX collection sitting outside his front yard. In the short video uploaded on Reddit by BigBang_Cam, we can see several rotary-powered RX-7s and RX-8s patiently waiting to be restored.

We counted at least seven examples of the RX-8 and seven RX-7s. The latter are mostly third-generation (FD) models but we can also see a second-generation (FC) in the background.

The majority of the cars feature visual modifications like aftermarket bumpers, bonnets, side sills, rims, wide fenders, large spoilers, and decals, bringing NFS Underground vibes. Having said that, there are cars like the white RX-7 (FD) on the pavement that appear to be in stock condition.

Unfortunately, the exterior paint of the cars is in a bad state and looks like they were being exposed to hot weather conditions and dirt for a long time. However, we are sure that this large inventory of parts could be used to build some fine examples of the RX-7 and RX-8.

We don’t have much information on who owns the cars, when (or why) they purchased them, and what they plan on using them for. From the description, we know that the collection is located in Cyprus, a beautiful island located on the eastern side of the Mediterranean Sea, very close to Greece and Turkey. This makes sense because Cyprus is a right-hand-drive market, so the aforementioned RX models could be imported from the UK or Japan.

As stated by other Reddit users in the comments section, maybe the owner decided to buy all these cars when their prices were low in order to use them for sourcing potentially valuable parts in the future. If you have any extra info, or have a collection of your own, feel free to send us a tip.
