Among the key highlights of the CT5-V Blackwing are its 6.2-liter supercharged LT4 V8, MagneRide suspension, and optional Brembo carbon ceramic brake discs. MT doesn’t state what upgrades the Camaro ZL1 could receive, but points to all three of these features as possibilities. As it stands, the current ZL1 has Dynamic Suspension Spool Valve dampers from MultiMatic as opposed to MagneRide, meaning owners cannot tweak suspension settings.

The 6.2-liter LT4 V8 of the CT5-V Blackwing also has a slight power edge over the ZL1, producing 668 hp compared to the 650 hp of the Camaro.

No other details about the 2023 Camaro ZL1 are known at this stage, but the prototype recently spied had a unique rear wing, slightly larger than the one on the current ZL1 but smaller than that of the ZL1 1LE.
