The Aston Martin Valhalla was recently unveiled in production-spec and not only looks better than the concept that previewed it but to our eyes, is one of the most beautiful supercars on the planet.

Aston Martin initially showcased the Valhalla a few years ago and designed it to look extremely similar to the Valkyrie. However, it went back to the drawing board when perfecting it for production, completely redesigning the car and according to Frank Stephenson, the result is absolutely stunning.

The world-famous car designer doesn’t hold back when assessing the designs of various new vehicles, as evidenced by his harsh criticism of the new BMW 2-Series. Fortunately for those Aston Martin designers that created the Valhalla, Stephenson has almost nothing bad to say about its design.

Stephenson starts his analysis at the front end and says he loves the use of a clamshell hood that eliminates any need for shut lines. He also loves how flush the headlights sit with the rest of the bodywork. The only little things he would change would be the outer edges of the grille and the wing mirrors. Stephenson comments positively on how the Valhalla looks from the side and likes how it sits on the road. He would perhaps only remove one of the aerodynamic panels behind the front wheels.

The rear of the Valhalla is equally as striking as the front and has a keen focus on aerodynamics. Stephenson would like to tweak the slats on either side of the engine cover and perhaps alter the heat shielding used around the exhaust.

The designer ultimately gives the car’s design a rating of 9.91 out of 10, sitting above the likes of the Bugatti Bolide, Ferrari Roma, and Ford Bronco, and only below the cute Honda E.
