The Lamborghini Centenario is special for a number of reasons not least of which is the bevy of technological upgrades it brought to the brand. Created to celebrate what would’ve been the 100th birthday of its founding father, only 20 of these roadsters (and 20 more hardtops) were ever built. Now, this one is just waiting for its next owner and rather unsurprisingly it comes with really low mileage.

On the odometer, it simply reads 123. That’s about enough mileage for the car to be dropped off to the owner and for that owner to have one good long fun drive before tucking it away in storage. Despite rolling off of the production line floor in 2018, this Centenario likely still needs to have its brakes bedded in.

To have that privilege you’ll have to pony up seven figures to the folks over at O’gara Coach where the car is listed. No price is specified but all signs point to something in the neighborhood of $3-to-6 million.

Pricing can change all the time thanks to a number of factors but Lamborghini Newport Beach had a blue one available for just under $3 million back in mid-2020 and another was listed for $5.5 million in mid-2021.

That’s a huge price tag but consider all that the Centenario represents. Much like the Reventon that preceded this supercar, there’s a good chance that it’s signaling the look of the upcoming flagship Lamborghini. In addition, the Centenario debuted quite a lot of technology for Lamborghini.

Rear-wheel steering has been largely credited with dramatically improving the way that the Aventador handles corners. It debuted in the Centenario. This was also the very first Lambo to get a modern infotainment system with its large central touchscreen.

Of course, it’s still a hardcore old-school Lamborghini in some of the best ways. It uses the same single-clutch transmission that all Aventadors do. It also had 20 more horsepower (14 kW) than the Aventador of the time, bringing the total pony number to 759 (566 kW).

Yes, this is a wildly expensive car and personally, I don’t totally love the styling, but this might be the best ultimate Lamborghini on sale today considering all that it means to the brand.
