Nissan introduced the facelifted Altima earlier this year and now the company has announced pricing will start at $25,290.

Costing $390 more than its predecessor, the 2023 Altima features a new front fascia with a larger V-Motion grille. The latter is flanked by newly standard LED headlights that have integrated daytime running lights.

Additional styling changes are limited, but buyers will find a revised color palette that includes Gray Sky Pearl and Garnett Pearl Metallic. They’re joined by updated 17- and 19-inch alloy wheels.

In terms of equipment, the entry-level Altima S comes with 16-inch steel wheels, a 5.0-inch cluster display, and an infotainment system that lacks Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. On the bright side, it features Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and a Blind Spot Warning system.

The Altima SV starts at $26,090 and is well-worth the extra money as it comes equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels, an 8-way power driver’s seat, and a larger 7-inch display in the instrument cluster. Buyers will also find a respectable 8-inch infotainment system, additional USB charging ports, and an intelligent key with a push-button ignition.

The $27,490 Altima SR features a sport-tuned suspension and 19-inch alloy wheels. They’re joined by a dark chrome grille, black mirror caps, and a special exhaust finisher. Other highlights include sportier upholstery and “carbon grain” trim.

The Altima SL begins at $31,990 and it’s the most luxurious of the bunch thanks to heated leather front seats with power on both sides. Elsewhere, there’s a 9-speaker Bose premium audio system, a new 12.3-inch infotainment system, and a wireless smartphone charger.

Other additions include a moonroof, a dual-zone automatic climate control system, and rear air vents. SL buyers will also be rewarded with extra driver assistance systems including ProPILOT Assist, Intelligent Cruise Control, Intelligent Lane Intervention, an Intelligent Around View Monitor, and Traffic Sign Recognition technology.

Under the hood, there’s a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces up to 188 hp (140 kW / 191 PS) and 180 lb-ft (244 Nm) of torque. It’s connected to an Xtronic continuously variable transmission, which can be paired to an optional all-wheel drive system on most variants.

Customers seeking more performance can opt for the $34,990 Altima SR VC-Turbo. Available exclusively with front-wheel drive, the range-topping model has a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that develops up to 248 hp (185 kW / 251 PS) and 273 lb-ft (370 Nm) of torque.
