American cars are often known for being big, brash, and powerful, but one thing they’re not always associated with is beauty. Recently, we asked you to pick the most beautiful American car ever made. Here are the top five answers voted on by you.
Before we kick things off we should mention a few vehicles that didn’t quite crack the top five. SuperDuty mentioned a trio of 1930s classics and highlighted the Duesenberg Model SJ, a stunning car no doubt.

EdiotSavant was one of the few who picked a number of modern cars like the Chrysler 300, the C6 Chevrolet Corvette, and the Ford Probe too. That might be a bit surprising but the top five are undeniably pretty.
5. Lincoln Continental MkII Coupe
Classic Lincoln Continental models are almost universally well-regarded but few can claim the beauty of the MkII Coupe. Submitted by MJ K, this sleek two-door features white-wall tires, a 368 c.i. V8, and a three-speed automatic transmission.
4. 2017 Ford GT
As the only modern car in our list, the 2017 Ford GT, submitted by BeerThirty247, takes the fourth spot thanks to some daring design choices. The flying buttresses do a lot of heavy lifting here and provide a lot of downforce on the track.
3. 1937 Cord 812 SC Sportsman
Not only is the Cord 812 SC Sportsman a beautiful car, but it was built for speed all the way back in the late 1930s. It came equipped with a supercharged V8, a four-speed pre-select transmission, and a live rear axle.
2. 1934 Packard Twelve
Just a few years before that, the Packard Twelve arrived on the scene with styling that isn’t available anywhere today. Part of the car’s eleventh series, it featured a twelve-cylinder engine, a three-speed transmission, and 160 horsepower (119 kW).
1. 1967 Buick Riviera
At the very top of the list is the 1967 Buick Riviera. Combining two different comments about it, the car received 17 upvotes and only a single vote against it. It’s not hard to see why either as it blends old-school muscle car edges with modern curves to produce what most of you agree is the most beautiful American car ever made.
