September’s Rennsport Reunion at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca is expected to be the largest Porsche gathering ever and shaping up to be a must-attend event for any enthusiast in the U.S. This year’s event will be held over four days and celebrate 75 years of Porsche making sports cars and the 60th anniversary of the iconic 911. It will be held from September 28 to October 1.

As with all previous iterations of the Rennsport Reunion, this year’s event will include heaps of on-track and off-track action. There will be more than 50 Porsche race car drivers in attendance as well, including the likes of Mark Webber, Hurley Haywood, Jacky Ickx, Timo Bernhard, and Richard Attwood. Key members of the Porsche family itself, including Dr. Wolfgang Porsche, will also be at the event alongside many Porsche designers, engineers, and executives.

Organizers have already received over 300 race entries for the event and confirmed that the Carrera Cup North America will host a round of its championship at Rennsport Reunion. Various Porsche works drivers from the GTP and GTD racing classes will also take to the track.

A dizzying array of Porsche models will also be on display at the event. These will include the Mission X Concept Car and the Vision 357 Speedster, both of which will be celebrating their U.S. premieres. The newly-launched 911 S/T will also be there and Porsche has confirmed that a mysterious “global premiere” will also take place.

“The special magic that has defined Rennsport over the decades is alive and well for this, the seventh Reunion,” Porsche Cars North America vice president of marketing Ayesha Coker said. “The interest this time has been unprecedented, and as a result, we’ve planned ahead. We’ve teamed up with some of the biggest names in the Porsche community to guide the design of Rennsport 7 – to create a vibrant and welcoming event that’ll aim to have something for everyone, from enthusiasts through to newcomers and one that’s appropriate for the whole family, with plenty of space for everyone to sit down and relax as well as awesome activities, on and off the track.”
