Although one of Joe Biden’s signature policies as a president has been his support of electric vehicles, he is a long-time fan of American muscle, and this 2018 Cadillac ATS-V that he formerly leased, is further proof of that.

Now for sale on Cars and Bids, this particular ATS-V is a one-of-one specification, thanks to the Kona Brown interior, following a special request from the man who was, at the time, the former vice president.

Finished in black, the car is equipped with the Luxury and Safety and Security packages, Magnetic Ride Control suspension, a carbon fiber engine cover, a power-operated sunroof, wood trim, heated and power-adjustable front seats, red-painted Brembo brake calipers, and more.

Other features include a set of 18-inch CT4-V Blackwing wheels finished in Tech Bronze — though the original wheels are included as part of the sale.

The ex-Biden ATS-V also has a Rennick Performance grille and rear bumper trim, as well as a black emblem kit, a suede microfiber steering wheel and shift knob, as well as tinted windows, though it seems likely that many of those modifications were made after Biden’s time with the car. The President reportedly kept it until March 2020.

The car is said to have suffered minor damage to the front and rear bumpers in April 2020 and in May 2020, which prompted touch-ups to the front bumper and the installation of a new rear bumper.

Despite minor modifications, this Cadillac remains an attractive example of an impressive sports sedan. Its 3.6-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine produces 464 hp (346 kW/470 PS) and 445 lb-ft (603 Nm) of torque, all of which is sent to the rear wheels.

This ATS-V also has excellent provenance as a unique vehicle that once belonged to a president and has just 15,900 miles (25,588 km) on the odometer, 3,700 of which (5,954 km) were added since it was acquired by the seller, Delaware Cadillac.

You can check out the auction page on Cars and Bids, and the auction closes on Wednesday, February 21.
