• Singer’s Sorcerer 911 packs a 700 hp twin-turbo flat-six engine.
  • One-off build features full carbon body and DLS Turbo upgrades.
  • Hits over 9,000 rpm and uses a manual transmission with RWD.

This particular Porsche, transformed by Singer and nicknamed the Sorcerer, may be one of the most unrestrained restomodded 911s ever built. It marks the debut effort from Singer’s DLS Turbo division, and unlike most of the brand’s typically understated creations, this one leans heavily into extremes: big power, big aero, and no intention whatsoever of blending in.

Based on a 964, the car has been entirely rebuilt from the ground up. The chassis has been reinforced to cope with a significant increase in power. And there’s quite a bit of it.

Boosted and Borderline Excessive

Tucked under the skin is a re-engineered 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six, now fitted with water-cooled cylinder heads and a sky-high redline that clears 9,000 rpm. Output climbs north of 700 hp, with 553 lb-ft (750 Nm) of torque on tap.

It’s paired with a six-speed manual gearbox driving the rear wheels. An Inconel and titanium exhaust system handles the soundtrack, while inside the cabin, a fully exposed shift linkage serves as both a mechanical centerpiece and design statement.

To make sure things don’t get out of control too easily, there’s double wishbone suspension and lightweight trailing arms. The car also benefits from carbon ceramic brakes, a front axle lift system, and a staggered set of forged magnesium wheels measuring 19 inches at the front and 20 at the rear, wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.

Form Meets Fury

The exterior is absolutely wild. The new lightweight carbon fiber body panels include an entirely new front end with a prominent splitter and a custom hood. Singer has also added massive fender flares and created a longtail-esque rear end where the tailpipes exit from the sides of the rear diffuser.

LED lighting and a towering rear wing round out the visual drama. The special 911 is finished in a stunning Fantasia Blue that gradually darkens toward the rear, giving the body an almost ombré effect.

A Bespoke Interior

Singer didn’t stop at the sheet metal. The interior has been sculpted into something closer to industrial art. New seats are finished in Pebble Grey leather with Pearl Grey Alcantara centers, contrasted by Champagne-colored piping. The dashboard houses a set of custom floating gauges, while a redesigned steering wheel continues the theme of bespoke craftsmanship

“With [the] DLS Turbo we wanted to celebrate the 911’s evolution as an icon on both road and track and to explore the possibilities offered by turbocharging the remarkable engine developed through the DLS program,” said said Singer founder Rob Dickinson.

“Each car is a collaboration with our clients around the world, and DLS Turbo services are our most ambitious yet, so seeing Sorcerer ready for its owner to drive is a very exciting moment for us and a fantastic way to start the year,” he added.
