- Jeep has revealed the design of the facelifted Avenger.
- It sports an illuminated grille and a new front bumper.
- Subcompact could also benefit from an updated interior.
The teaser drip-fed earlier this week has now run its course. Jeep has pulled the covers off the facelifted Avenger in Brazil. It looks instantly recognizable, but has a modernized design that echoes newer models such as the Compass.
As part of the makeover, the crossover adopts an all-new seven slot grille with illuminated accents. The company also appears to have ditched the black grille surround, which gives the model a cleaner and more streamlined appearance.

Further below, we can see a redesigned front bumper and revised cladding. The faux silver skid plate is also accompanied by new horizontal accents, which help to break up the mass of black plastic cladding. They’re joined by two new slots beneath the headlights, which could be vertical air curtains.
The rest of the design appears to largely carryover, but Jeep implied the taillights are new. However, they closely resemble the ones found on the current model.
Jeep says the Avenger will offer a two-tone paint job, roof rails, and 18-inch diamond-cut wheels. They’ll be joined by “excellent” approach and departure angles as well as a generous amount of ground clearance.
Jeep is holding back the interior photos for now, but prototypes were spied with a completely covered cabin. This suggests we can expect a number of updates, although their extent remains unknown.
Powertrain details are also unclear, but the crossover offers an assortment of options in Europe. This includes a 1.2-liter petrol, a hybrid variant, and a fully electric model.
We’ll learn more later this year, but the facelifted Avenger was introduced in Brazil as it will soon be going into production in the country. It will become the brand’s fourth model built there and Jeep said it reinforces their “commitment to innovation, quality, and local presence.”
