- The new Seiko Supercars GMT watch can track two time zones simultaneously.
- Seiko has added a carbon fiber look to the timepiece’s dial, matching the strap.
- Production of the watch will be capped at just 1,500 units, priced at AU$850.
Australia’s Supercars Championship consistently delivers some of the best racing action of any touring car series, and for diehard fans of the sport, Seiko has produced a special watch just for them.Officially called the Seiko 5 Sports 2026 Supercars Limited Edition SSK057K, the name is a mouthful, but the design lands exactly where it needs to.

Seiko is using its familiar automatic Caliber 4R34 movement with the watch, complete with GMT functionality and a 24-hour hand adjustment. As the 2026 Supercars Championship has races across six time zones, the timepiece’s GTM complication means two time zones can be tracked simultaneously, making it that much more difficult to miss a race.
The case is made from strong stainless steel and offers 100 meters (328 feet) of water resistance, and has Hardlex crystal over the dial. Speaking of the dial, it has a carbon fiber pattern and several red accents, including the seconds hand. The motorsport-inspired theme continues with a black leather strap that includes a carbon fiber pattern, red lining, and red contrast stitching.
What Else Do You Get?
The rear of the case looks a little naff with a bright red Supercars logo, but it offers a glimpse into the watch’s inner workings. Each example purchased will also come with a custom-designed collector’s box trimmed in faux carbon fiber, a personalized cleaning cloth, an individually numbered certificate with all the race tracks on the Supercars calendar, and an official Seiko Supercars pin.
Seiko will manufacture just 1,500 examples of the special Supercars watch, each priced at AU$850 ($600). That’ll put it out of the price range of many, but for diehard enthusiasts seeking a sporty, motorsport-inspired watch, it’s a lot cheaper than some of the other auto-related watches out there.
