- Villa d’Este will host the debut of the one-off Tutto Rosso commission.
- 95 percent of the visible surfaces of the supercar are finished in red.
- A supercharged V8 sends 888 hp to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual.
Lake Como has seen its share of bold paintwork over the years, but very few cars have committed to a single color quite this hard. Capricorn picked the 2026 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este to reveal the latest prototype of its 01 Zagato. The one-off goes by the name Tutto Rosso, and 95 percent of its visible surfaces are red.
The car is more than just a private commission. It is the third validation prototype in the development program, with production targeted for late 2026. The previous two test cars wore a Knokke green body with brown leather inside, and a Giallo Sole yellow finish paired with blue suede.

The red runs deeper than the bodywork. It coats the wheels, the cabin, and the mechanical hardware too. The obvious comparison is Maranello, but Capricorn points instead to the all-red racing cars of the 1930s, with the 1931 Alfa Romeo 6C, also bodied by Zagato, named as the touchstone.
Inside, the cabin is trimmed in red Connolly leather and red Alcantara. The exceptions are the pedals, the gated manual lever, the faces of the analogue dials, and a few trim pieces on the steering wheel.

The boldest application is on the carbon fibre monocoque itself. Capricorn’s engineering team in Düsseldorf formulated a red-tinted resin for the weave so the color could go into the structure without compromising the tub’s integrity. The engine bay follows the same logic, with the parts that see the worst heat left in black for the sake of durability.
The mechanical package is unchanged from the rest of the program. A mid-mounted 5.2-litre supercharged V8 derived from a 5.0-liter Ford block produces 888 hp (662 kW / 900 PS) and 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft) of torque, sent through a CIMA five-speed dogleg manual to the rear wheels.
With a dry weight of under 1,200 kg (2,646 lbs), the exotic promises to complete the 0-100 km/h (62 mph) sprint in less than 3 seconds before reaching a top speed of 360 km/h (224 mph).

According to Capricorn, the third prototype incorporates a range of technical refinements that will be applied to the upcoming production models. Following its first public outing at Villa d’Este on May 16, the Tutto Rosso will return to the testing circuit to finalize calibration.
Production of the 01 Zagato is capped at 19 units, a reference to Zagato’s 1919 founding. Pricing opens at €2.95 million ($3.43 million) before taxes, and Capricorn says only a handful of slots are still on the table.
