- Pogea Racing has transformed the Porsche 964 into a striking restomod.
- The build adds carbon bodywork, coilovers, and carbon-ceramic brakes.
- Three flat-six engine options deliver as much as 500 horsepower.
The list of tuners willing to take a hammer to a perfectly good 964 just got longer. Germany’s Pogea Racing is the latest to throw its hat into the Porsche restomod ring, with a heavily reworked 911 that swaps the original steel skin for carbon fiber, gains a bespoke interior, runs a more aggressive chassis, and offers three uprated flat-six options.
Every project starts with a donor 964, stripped to the shell for a full restoration and digital scan. Once the chassis has been measured, stiffened, and signed off, the team wraps it in a body made entirely of carbon fiber.

The shape borrows the 964’s silhouette but layers on modern detailing, including a 992.2 GT3-style front bumper and widebody work lifted from the 911 Turbo lineage. The rear fenders flare out by roughly 8.8 cm (3.46 inches) and house functional intakes feeding the air-cooled flat-six. A vented engine cover ties into a sizeable rear wing.

Buyers of the PR964 have a choice between three flat-six engines. The entry-level naturally aspirated 3.6-liter mill is designed for the purists who want a sharper throttle response. Then there is a turbocharged 3.6-liter engine with around 400 hp and a flagship twin-turbo 4.0-liter engine with 500 hp. Pogea Racing handles engine testing and calibration in collaboration with EGMO in Switzerland.

Regardless of the powertrain choice, the suspension and braking systems have been extensively modified. Goodies include an adjustable KW Clubsport coilover suspension and larger carbon-ceramic brakes behind the custom alloy wheels.

The interior also receives a thorough transformation in line with the preferences of the owner. The launch vehicle features black upholstery with white and red accents. The cabin gets modern sports seats, a three-spoke steering wheel, an aluminum gear knob, carbon fiber inserts, and a rear seat delete.

Pogea Racing said that each PR964 is built to order, with the owner playing an important role in the development. Pricing remains undisclosed, but the extent of the upgrades and the exclusivity suggest it will be quite expensive.
Besides the Porsche 964 project, the tuner has offered extensively modified versions of the Alfa Romeo 4C, the Ferrari 488 GTB, the Abarth 695, and the C1 Corvette, among others.
