- Talos has developed a lightweight widebody kit for the 911 GT3 RS.
- The British firm also boosts power from the car’s 4.0-liter N/A flat-six.
- Prices for the 911 RT start at $1.13 million, excluding the donor car.
The aftermarket has never been short of people willing to redesign a Porsche, but the bar keeps climbing. Talos, a small British firm, says it has built the ultimate version of the 911 GT3 RS, drawing on the 911 GT3 R race car for inspiration. The result is called the 911 RT, and at just 20 units, it will be very exclusive.

Distinguishing the RT from any existing 911 model from Porsche itself is the bodywork. Talos has crafted a lightweight body for the car, made from carbon fiber in collaboration with the specialists at MCT Carbon, who also produce carbon parts for the Aston Martin Valkyrie.
The car sits much wider than any standard 911, rocking a custom front splitter, grille, and reshaped air intakes. Also new are the hood, complete with aerodynamic NACA ducts, and the center-locking wheels. The rear wheel arches are also way fatter than the GT3 RS, while a towering new wing and diffuser package is positioned at the rear. Although these photos show the car with an exposed carbon fiber finish, buyers can have it painted.
Lightweight And Powerful
Thanks to the new carbon fiber parts, Talos says the 911 RT weighs just 2,976 lbs (1,350 kg), making it 176 lbs (80 kg) lighter than a GT3 RS, although it is still 198 lbs (90 kg) heavier than the 991-generation 911 R.
Power comes from a 4.0-liter naturally-aspirated flat-six, presumably lifted from the GT3 RS, but upgraded to deliver 540 hp and 339 lb-ft (460 Nm) of torque. Talos will also offer a turbo upgrade, but it’s unclear how much this will cost.
Boosting the car’s handling credentials are TTX coilovers developed in partnership with Ohlins. Buyers will also be able to have the interior overhauled. Talos says it will offer bespoke materials, colors, and finishes, although the overall cabin will be “inspired by the GT3 RS.”
Then we get to the price. Each 911 RT will start at a staggering £850,000 ($1.13 million), excluding the cost of the donor car.
