The facelifted Tesla Model 3 remains forbidden fruit in America, but the car has made its public debut at the Munich Motor Show.
Sporting improved aerodynamics and updated styling, the 2024 Tesla Model 3 is distinguished by an all-new front end that sports slender headlights and a more curvaceous bumper.
The sides largely carryover, but there are new 18- and 19-inch wheels as well as updated rubber. Tesla said the changes will deliver “increased range and less driving noise.”
The rear end benefits from a sportier bumper and new C-shaped taillights. Buyers will also find a revised color palette that includes Stealth Gray and Ultra Red.

The changes continue inside thanks to a “completely redesigned interior,” which has a new dashboard, a revised center console, and updated door panels. They’re joined by higher quality materials, soft-touch accents, and NVH improvements.
There’s a 15.4-inch display up front and a new 8-inch screen for rear seat passengers. The latter can be used for climate controls and entertainment. Other highlights include a dual wireless smartphone charger and adjustable ambient lighting.
On the performance front, the rear-wheel drive Model 3 can accelerate from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 6.1 seconds and travel up to 319 miles (513 km) in the WLTP cycle. The Dual Motor Long Range variant is far more impressive as it hits 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.4 seconds and has a WLTP range of 391 miles (629 km).
When the battery is depleted, owners will find a 170 kW or 250 kW fast charging capability. Tesla says this can provide up to 175 miles (282 km) of range in as little as 15 minutes.
In Germany, pricing starts at €42,990 and deliveries are currently expected to begin next month.
