Starting outside, the model has a performance hood with a carbon fiber extractor and a painted Shelby ghost graphic. Buyers will also find an aggressive aerodynamics package that includes a carbon fiber front splitter, dive planes, and sporty side skirts. They’re joined by an adjustable rear wing, a ducktail spoiler, and a unique diffuser.
The car has also been outfitted with special graphics, carbon fiber mirror caps, and a revised grille. They’re joined by Forgeline wheels that are wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires and backed up by an Alcon braking system.
The upgrades extend to the cabin, which has leather performance seats with Shelby embroidery. Drivers will also find carbon fiber trim, door sill plates, and a serialized badge. More notably, the model has a chromoly four-point roll cage.
Supercharged V8 With Manual Grit
Power comes from a 5.0-liter V8 engine that has been equipped with a supercharger and a high-flow four-tailpipe exhaust system. The model also sports a special engine calibration as well as an “extreme engine cooling package.”
This setup enables the car to produce more than 830 hp (619 kW / 842 PS). The engine is connected exclusively to a six-speed manual, which has been equipped with a short-throw shifter.

The upgrades don’t end there as the model has a retuned suspension with fully adjustable race struts and remote reservoir shocks. They’re joined by heavy duty half shafts as well as Trans Am-spec components including sway bars and a rear differential.
Pricing and Availability
Production will be limited to 70 units and the GT350/TA will be made in Michigan as part of a collaboration with Turn Key Automotive. All this comes at a cost, as pricing starts at $219,995, which is roughly $110,000 less than the Mustang GTD, but also places it in the same territory as the less powerful, though highly capable, Porsche 911 GT3 and GT3 RS, starting at $235,800 and $250,000, respectively.
And if raw power is the priority, there’s also the elephant in the room, the new 1,250hp Corvette ZR1X with a lower list price of $209,700.
