- The Ultimate Edition brings back the blue paint from the 2015 Range Rover Sport SVR.
- It rides on 23-inch wheels and has Light Cloud and Ebony Windsor leather inside.
- The mild-hybrid twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 produces 626 hp, surpassing the original SVR.
Land Rover is leaning into nostalgia with a new UK-exclusive special edition of its performance flagship. The Range Rover Sport SV Ultimate Edition is a homage to the original SVR from 2015, wearing one of the most recognizable colors from its catalog.
A Nod to the Past
The headline feature is the return of Velocity Blue Gloss shade, appearing on the current-gen Range Rover Sport SV for the first time. It’s a nod to the old SVR, though the company will also offer the Ultimate Edition in Obsidian Black Satin or Ethereal Frost Satin for those who prefer a more stealthy or icy look.

The colors are combined with a Black roof and pillars, matching the emblems and exterior accents. Finally, the SUV rides on 23-inch forged alloy wheels that can be finished in Dark Grey or Black, complemented by blue or black brake calipers.
Curated Interior
The cabin is upholstered in perforated Windsor leather in Light Cloud and Ebony, with a Panoramic Roof included as standard. The special edition retains all of the high-tech features of the SV, including the 29-speaker Meridian sound system and the “Body and Soul Seats” that use haptic transducers to let you feel the bass of the music through your spine.
Specs & Performance
The Ultimate Edition doesn’t get any mechanical upgrades over the standard SV. This means it is still powered by the familiar BMW-sourced twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine with a mild-hybrid system, generating a healthy 626 hp (467 kW / 635 PS) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque. If you’re using Dynamic Launch Mode, that torque figure swells to 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) with the help of the electric motor.

The SUV may be lacking an SVR badge, but all this power is enough for a 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) acceleration in 3.7 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 180 mph (290 km/h). It also features the 6D Dynamics suspension with a hydraulically interlinked system designed to defy the laws of physics.
For comparison, the original SVR came fitted with a Jaguar-sourced supercharged 5.0-liter V8 generating 550 hp (558 PS) and 502 lb-ft (680 Nm) of torque, although the Ultimate Edition of this one jumped to 567 hp (575 PS) and 516 lb-ft (700 Nm). The old dog accelerated from 0-60 mph in 4.3 seconds and had a top speed of 162 mph (260 km/h).
Only For The UK
The 2026 Range Rover SV Ultimate Edition is not a global release, as the company will only build 500 units for the UK market. The privilege of owning the latest SVR tribute starts at £145,995 ($194,700). Since buyers will be locals, they will also get a VIP handover experience at the Range Rover Studio in Solihull, including a track session.
