• Special 911 GT3 Touring celebrates Porsche Moldova’s anniversary.
  • Purple paint shifts in tone, front to back, making it feel like two cars.
  • Bright pink Pasha upholstery ensures nobody will forget the cabin.

The Touring is usually the choice for GT3 buyers who prefer stealth and subtlety over the look-at-me swagger of the winged GT3. This particular example clearly didn’t get that memo. Created through Porsche’s Sonderwunsch “special wish” division to celebrate Porsche Moldova’s 15th anniversary, it’s one of the most eye-catching GT3s we’ve seen.

Known as the “Tree of Life,” the one-off was developed by Porsche Moldova alongside Style Porsche and the Sonderwunsch team in Zuffenhausen. The project draws inspiration from one of Moldova’s most recognizable cultural symbols, representing heritage, continuity, and growth.

What really grabs your attention, though, is the paintwork. The body wears a complex gradient finish that transitions from Viola Purple Metallic at the front to Chromaflair Magic Magenta at the rear. Porsche says the effect was inspired by the different stages of ripening grapes, a nod to Moldova’s long wine-making tradition. The result is a 911 that genuinely looks like two different vehicles depending on which end you’re standing near. Let’s just hope the owner never has to touch up a paint chip.

400 Hours Of Art

The visual drama doesn’t stop there. The 20- and 21-inch magnesium wheels feature matching gradient finishes, while a hand-painted Tree of Life graphic stretches across the hood and roof in Neodyme Porsche Gold. According to Porsche, combining the layered paintwork with the intricate artwork required around 400 hours of painstaking craftsmanship. There’s even a subtle letter M etched into the front grille as a tribute to Moldova.

And if the exterior is bold, the cabin turns the volume up even further. The interior combines Lila leather with Ruby Star Neo accents, Atacama Beige contrast stitching, and perhaps the most eye-catching feature of all, bright Ruby Star Neo and beige Pasha fabric. The retro-inspired pattern covers the seat centers, door panels, glovebox, and luggage compartment.

Wood trim made from Paldao appears on the manual transmission’s shift lever and seat backs, adding a more low-key traditional touch to an otherwise unapologetically loud specification. As with most Sonderwunsch projects, no mechanical upgrades were needed, so this one has a stock GT3’s 502 hp (510 PS) 4.0-liter flat-six, but who’d want to mess with one of the world’s most exciting powertrains, anyway?
