Eight years after its debut, the fourth-generation Suzuki Jimny is no spring chicken anymore, but it remains a darling of the off-road crowd worldwide. To keep that going, Suzuki is bringing a modified version to JimnySunlight 2026 in Japan, using the show to test demand for future factory-approved upgrades.
Named the Jimny Sierra Gozel Outdoor Concept, it wears a custom bodykit from AWIN, a subsidiary of one of the partner firms that builds Suzuki’s factory-approved accessories.

The changes over the standard Jimny Sierra concentrate on the front end, with an aluminum-style bumper insert and a more pronounced skid plate with red inserts. The small off-roader also gets a honeycomb grille with Suzuki lettering, red mud flaps, and a metal-like insert on the side skirts.
According to the automaker, the kit is still at the prototype stage and not available for purchase. The goal of the presentation is to gather real-world feedback from Jimny owners that could shape the design of future accessories. In other words, Suzuki might put the Gozel Outdoor kit into production depending on the public response.
Sharing the floor at the event will be a five-door Jimny Nomade fitted with the “Craggy Style” kit, a dealer-installed accessory package. It adds a black Suzuki emblem, aluminium-look skid plate and side skirts, a flat roof rack, unique 15-inch alloy wheels, yellow fog lights, door handle protectors, and a spare tire cover.

The Craggy Style kit is already on sale in Japan at ¥404,030 ($2,500). Other options from the official accessory catalog for the Jimny Nomade include the Rhino Style, Urban Edge Style, Nostalgic Line Style, and Metal Style packages.
The “Jimnysunlight 2026 – 5th Anniversary” event takes place on June 14 at the Yamanakako Koryu Plaza Kirara, a lakefront complex in Yamanashi Prefecture with stunning views of Mount Fuji. Suzuki will be joined by a host of aftermarket companies showing off their tuning packages and Jimny-compatible accessories.
