- A Lamborghini Gallardo impersonator is up for grabs.
- The Fiero-based replica features unusual proportions.
- It is currently listed on eBay with an asking price of $14k.
The humble Pontiac Fiero has spent decades as the default starting point for builders seeking supercar looks on a modest budget. The newest one to surface online chases the Lamborghini Gallardo, and it’s on eBay right now with a $14,000 asking price.

The build quality looks solid and the car appears to be in good shape overall. The proportions are where it falls apart. Against the baby Lambo, the front end runs far too long, the headlights are enormous, the wheels are undersized, and the tail reads as a fastback instead of anything with an engine behind the seats.

Still, we must appreciate the effort in fabricating all those bespoke panels, trying to mimic the styling language introduced by the Gallardo in the 2000s. The replica is painted in a gold hue, with a contrasting black finish for the roof, engine cover and rear spoiler.

The cabin retains the basic Fiero layout while incorporating a few custom upgrades. The seats are trimmed in black leather with embroidered raging bull logos on the backrests and Recaro belt pads. There is also an aftermarket steering wheel with yellow accents, an Alpine audio system, front and rear cameras, Lamborghini puddle lights, and auxiliary gauges on top of the center console.

Under the Gallardo dress the model retains the underpinnings of the Pontiac Fiero donor vehicle. The mid-mounted 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine was good for 98 hp (73 kW / 99 PS) in stock form. The mill is mated to a manual gearbox sending power to the rear wheels.
The eBay listing shows 56,000 miles (90,100 km) on the odometer, modest for a car of this vintage. The seller says it runs and drives, with all its components in excellent condition. Whether that’s worth $14,000 to somebody is a question the auction will answer soon enough. You can check the listing over here.
