- For 2027, the Ford F-150 Raptor will start at $74,995, not $79,005.
- The F-150 Raptor’s 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 has 450 hp and 510 lb-ft.
- Ford dropped the price by eliminating certain key interior features.
The Ford F-150 Raptor is getting cheaper for 2027, which is not the direction prices have been moving lately. Ford is cutting the base price, and the new number lands the Raptor at exactly the same price as the 2027 Ram 1500 RHO, a truck with a significant power advantage.
An order guide that surfaced online puts the 2027 Raptor at $74,995, down from the $79,005 Ford asked for the 2026MY. The Blue Oval didn’t reveal what prompted the move, but Ram’s lineup makes a strong case for itself as the reason. The 1500 RHO has been undercutting the Raptor since it arrived, and Ram then added the Rumble Bee 392, which starts at $69,995 and sits a full five grand below even the discounted Ford.

As a reminder, the F-150 Raptor runs a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 with 450 hp at 5,850 rpm and 510 lb-ft (691 Nm) of torque. Although it’s been overshadowed by the 720 hp Raptor R in recent years, the standard Raptor is still a serious performer. However, it is easily outgunned by the Ram 1500 RHO, which delivers 540 hp and 521 lb-ft (706 Nm) from its 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-six.
The Savings Come Out Of The Cabin
Sadly, the $4,000 discount has a cost, and it shows up inside. CarsDirect reports that the 2027 entry-level Raptor now comes standard with Equipment Group 800A, which ditches the 14-speaker B&O Unleashed audio system, the heated rear seats, and the head-up display. Buyers who want that gear back have to check the box for Equipment Group 801A at $4,120, meaning a like-for-like 2027 Raptor actually costs $110 more than the 2026 version did.
It’ll be interesting to see how many buyers are willing to forgo these features to save $4,010, or whether most will simply opt for the 801A package to get them back. The standard model uses a six-speaker system, which is subpar for a vehicle this size, but if you’re not a big music listener and would rather hear the engine, perhaps the new base model could be a good option.
