Thanks to the National Highway Traffic Safety’s Administration (NHTSA) importation exemption rule on vehicles more than 25 years old, you can now legally import a Nissan Skyline GT-R R32 into the USA. Or you can save yourself the hassle and leave Japanese Classics do all the work for you.

The Richmond, Virginia-based importer just listed a 1990 Nissan Skyline GT-R R32 finished in black for about the same price as a Ford Fiesta ST at $21,995.

Drawbacks? Well, it has a few miles on its back at 124,000 and it isn’t completely stock as it sports “N1 front bumper and N1 headlights”, along with Nismo side skirts, a painted carbon fiber hood, fully adjustable Greddy Coilovers, MOMO steering wheel, and an R34 driver’s seat.

You could add the fact that you won’t be able to drive to your local shop for parts as another downside, but at the end of the day, the real issue here for enthusiasts is if you can live with a right-hand drive car. If that’s not a problem, $21k for one of the coolest sports models of the 1990s sounds pretty reasonable.
