Here’s a double BMW spy treat, courtesy of YouTube author TouriClip, who spotted what is believed to be the M235i, a higher performance version of the upcoming 2-Series Coupe with a turbocharged straight-six, and the new Alpina D3 Touring.

The M235i, which we’ve spied almost completely undisguised, ups the sporting ante of the regular 235i Coupe via a slightly more poky 3.0-liter force-fed six delivering 316bhp (320PS) and 450Nm (332 lb-ft) of peak torque connected to either a 6sp manual or 8sp automatic driving the rear wheels (AWD may be offered optionally), along with a M Sport styling package and stiffer suspension setup.

Moving on to the new Alpina D3 that is rumored to debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month, German magazine Auto Zeitung recently reported that, unlike the previous four-cylinder D3, it will be based on the 335d featuring a 3.0-liter inline-six turbo diesel bumped to produce around 350-horses and 700Nm (516 lf-ft) of torque.
