Trying to tame a 1,300hp+ twin-turbocharged beast like this Porsche 996-generation 911 TT built by BBI Automotive is no small task, and things can easily go south from one moment to the other. Just ask the owner and driver of the car, Kong Chang, aka, “King Kong”.

While performing a few fast runs at the Texas Invitational, Chang’s car apparently blew a tire that sent the heavily-tuned 911 spinning around itself at triple digit speeds, but he held his composure and saved the day with only some minor damages to the vehicle.

Asked about how fast he was going when it happened, Chang said, “It was 179.99mph – sideways – I was like, could you at least write 180?”

The spin happens just before the 2:55 minute mark in the video that follows.
