Chevrolet has revealed pricing information for the 2016 Camaro and with it the new online visualizer which will help customers tailor their Gen Six to suit their tastes.

The 2016 Camaro coupe starts at a suggested retail price of $26,695 for the Camaro 1LT, while the most powerful Camaro SS ever starts at $37,295 for the 1SS trim. Both prices include a $995 destination charge.

Offered in coupe and convertible body styles and a simplified model lineup with just two models (LT and SS) and four trim levels (1LT, 2LT, 1SS, and 2SS), the 2016 Camaro offers three engine options: a 270hp 2.0-liter turbo, a 330hp 3.6-liter V6 and a 455hp 6.2-liter V8.

Chevrolet expects the 1LT trim level to be even more popular than before as the 2016 Camaro 1LT is priced less than the 2015 model while offering more standard features and technologies.

New standard features that were either unavailable or optional on the 2015 model include Chevrolet MyLink with Apple CarPlay capability, OnStar 4G LTE connectivity with Wi-Fi hotspot, Driver Mode Selector with Snow/Ice, Tour and Sport modes on all models and Track mode on SS, LED daytime running lamps, automatic climate control, information center with color display, 8-way power driver, 6-way power passenger seats and electronic park brake, among other things.

Additionally, the 2016 Camaro marks the return of the popular RS package for LT models, bringing 20-inch aluminum wheels, High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamps with LED signature lamps, LED taillamps, RS-specific grille inserts and a rear spoiler.

Moving up in the range, the Camaro 1SS adding unique front and rear fascias, specific grilles, a vented hood, and specific rear spoiler. Performance features on the 1SS include cooling systems for the differential, transmission and engine oil, Brembo brakes with four-piston front and rear calipers, Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 run-flat tires, Active Rev Matching and limited slip differential (for manual transmission models only) and a Configurable Driver Information Center.

Finally, the range-topping 2SS model gets leather heated and ventilated front seats, wireless phone charging, interior spectrum lighting, heated steering wheel, head-up display, Bose premium audio, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Side Blind Zone Alert with Lane Change Alert and more.

The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro coupe will arrive in dealerships by the end of this year with V6 and V8 engines, while convertible models and 2.0L Turbo models will arrive in the first quarter of 2016.
