Before we get into how cool these cars are and what an amazing job these tuning companies have done, somebody needs to tell these guys to race on a drag strip instead of on our streets.

Seriously, I was expecting a couple of cool drag strip runs where that 1,450 WHP TT Gallardo by Dallas Performance would certainly put a few car lengths between itself and the Jotech GT-R, with enough runway to reach take off speeds.

What we got instead were a couple of short backroad runs, and at night of all times.

That’s mighty disappointing guys, especially since beasts like these need room in order to spread their twin-turbocharged wings.

As for who the winner was, well, obviously it was the Dallas Performance Gallardo making good use of an extra 180 WHP, which seemed to make quite a bit of difference compared to how the Lambo performed when the driver turned down the tune to 1,250 WHP – more or less the same as the GT-R.

In this configuration, the Nissan GT-R was the one that made better use of its power, which is really obvious if you follow closely how both cars are shifting gears.

So with all things being equal, the Jotech GT-R comes out on top. But if the Gallardo turns it up to 1,450 WHP, it can’t really be challenged by something less powerful.

And again, take this stuff over to the drag strip!
