Volkswagen is currently displaying its advanced e-Golf Touch at CES, alongside the all-electric Budd-e Concept.

Installed into the e-Golf Touch is the German company’s latest and greatest infotainment system incorporating a high-res 9.2-inch display. The infotainment system provides support for Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink and can therefore easily be connected up to the owner’s smartphone.

Another feature of the e-Golf Touch is a mobile phone tray under the infotainment system that provides wireless, inductive charging. Rear seat passengers can also enjoy the pleasures of wireless charging through specially-designed armrests. Also found at the rear is the VW Media Control system which offers a tablet to allow passengers in the rear to control the vehicle’s infotainment system through a dedicated WiFi hotspot.

Additionally, the car is particularly impressive as it includes a gesture control system which will be featured in the eighth-generation Golf.
