Until Bugatti pulls the wraps off the Chiron in Geneva, enthusiasts can take a look at their Vision Gran Turismo Concept.

Even if the firm’s design study is not exactly brand new, as it was presented last year in Frankfurt, a film with the powerful machine starting its loud engine and driving away is something always worth watching. The footage was shot at the 2016 Concept Car Show in Paris and it is one of those rare occasions that the concept can be seen in motion.

The Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo is not just a race-car transported into the real world straight from the Gran Turismo Playstation video game franchise, as the vehicle will also inspire the new Chiron. Speaking of which, the Veyron’s successor will reportedly retain its quad-turbo W16 8.0-liter engine, which should be good for approximately 1,500hp.

The extra oomph is expected to allow the new megacar to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h (62mph) in as little as 2 seconds flat, on its way to a possible top speed of around 463km/h (288mph).

With roughly 500 units expected to make production and about 120 promised to future buyers, it’s no wonder that each Chiron will reportedly cost $3.5 million. One of the first famous owners of the megacar is apparently Floyd Mayweather, the undefeated boxer, who has a special attraction towards expensive and rare vehicles.
