All-New Audi A4 Avant B9 Facelift Rendered Already

Even though the A4 has just hit dealerships, some use computer generated trickery to imagine what a possible facelift might look like.

What you’re looking at here is a 2016 A4 Avant with a 3D-grille like the Q7, new front and rear bumpers, new headlights and taillights and a new tailgate.

At the front, the Daytime Running Light design actually seems a little older rather than new-gen, but that’s only because it resembles what we’ve already seen in the current Q3, whereas the A4 moved on to something that really sets it apart from the rest of the range.

So yes, while it’s a little early to speculate what Audi has planned for a mid life-cycle revamp as far as the A4 B9 is concerned, looking at some of their other models for inspiration could turn out to be a productive exercise.

well i like the use of the brushed aluminum around the grille, but that’s the only difference i can really see either.

  • I like it, but since the release of the Q2 and when you see the Prologue I wonder if with new design boss, Audi design is shifting from this path.

No it’s not right because Audi long ago said they were gonna differenciate design scheme between A/R lineup and Q, latter receiving more 3 dimensional grill which can be found on Q2 and Q7. Sedans will keep their traditional grill.

Proving once again, the Q7 should be a wagon.
