Lamborghini supercars tend to evolve into limited editions once their design reaches a certain age and way before the Centenario came under the spotlight, the raging bull rolled off another exotic machine.

Named after fighting bull, the Reventon debuted almost 9 years ago in Frankfurt, and, at the time, it was billed as the most expensive and extreme supercar ever produced by Lamborghini.

Based on the Murcielago LP640-4, it was built in just 21 examples, of which one was destined for the Lamborghini museum, and it was sold out in no time. Its design was inspired by “the latest trends in aeronautics”, as Lambo’ states, and beneath its aerodynamically modded skin, it carries the same mid-mounted 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine as the Murcielago, good for 641 PS (632 HP) and 487 pound-feet (660 Nm) of torque.

The fast-accelerating machine carried an initial price tag of €1 million ($1.15 million), so you can imagine our astonishment when we stumbled upon this example, which is currently offered for sale at €1,706,400 ($1,930,330), unlike the newer and rarer Veneno, whose price went through the roof with some units seen listed for $7.9 million and even $11 million.

The ad on mobile reads that the supercar was driven for 5,900 km (3,666 miles) throughout its lifetime and it carries a matte grey finish on top of the leather/Alcantara interior. This is all the vendor has to say about it, but surely more questions can be answered for a potential buyer.
