This is the love story of a DR30 Skyline and its proud owner.
People go crazy over Skylines and for good reason; for the most of us, Nissan’s iconic model was essentially something we only knew from magazines and low-quality online videos.
“We always want what we can’t have,” says Jay Kho, owner of the DR30 in the latest Petrolicious feature. “The Supra, back in the day, you could go to a dealership and purchase one. You could never purchase a Nissan Skyline, it’s like a treasure you never want to let go.”
With GT-Rs taking most of the credit almost all the time, it’s certainly refreshing to see some of the rest of the Skylines getting some love as well, especially for the rarer of the breed.
After sampling some very interesting cars, including a 1966 Ford Mustang, Jay Kho went back to his roots immediately after a chance encounter with this 1983 Nissan Skyline. And who can blame him!
