It may have taken the former Top Gear trio a long time to come up with a name for their new Amazon car show, but they eventually settled to “The Grand Tour”.

Before moving from place to place to record footage for the upcoming episodes with his two colleagues, James May and Richard Hammond, Jeremy Clarkson has released the first official image with the show’s logo, accompanied by a short comment:

Newspapers. As there is very little going on at the moment, I thought you’d like to see our new Grand Tour logo“, Jezza wrote on Twitter.

As for the official logo, there isn’t much to talk about, except that it has a retro look, which combines orange and black on a white background, and considering that the revamped Top Gear doesn’t seem to end its numerous scandals, Clarkson may have chosen the perfect time to reveal it.

The first episode of the new Amazon Prime series is set to tape on July 17, in Johannesburg, South Africa, and we should see the three presenters in 36 episodes, over three seasons, as part of the $250 million deal signed with Amazon.
