In a way, this is not a fair fight, what with the Murcielago being retired long ago, so the proper Lambo to challenge the F12berlinetta should be the Aventador.
Despite the generation gap, which is quite sizeable, these two cars are still rather similar in one or two ways. First, they have identical top speeds, rated at 340 km/h (211 mph). Second, torque figures and 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) times are also comparable.
To make things even more interesting, this particular Murcielago LP-640 has undergone a RWD conversion, which basically means that it won’t be at an advantage when looking for traction off the line.
On the other hand, the Ferrari is lighter, more powerful and has a much quicker transmission.
