Breaking: McLaren 650S Spider Totaled, Two Hospitalized In LA Hit And Run

Two people have been hospitalized and bright green McLaren 650S Spider wrecked following a multiple car crash in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles.

KTLA 5 reports that at least one of the vehicles involved in the crash fled the scene, leaving the McLaren and a silver Audi sitting in the road in a flood of debris following the impact.

Initially, it was though that four vehicles were involved in the wreck but according to LAPD Officer Charles Rodriguez, investigators assert that three cars were involved and that one of them drove off, claiming that it could have been racing the McLaren.

Although the circumstances surround the crash remain sketchy, the damage sustained to the expensive McLaren is obvious.

The front of the bright green 650S has been totally wrecked by the impact with debris strewn across the road and sidewalk. Additionally, the passenger side front wheel has been torn from the supercar, causing irreparable damage and sentencing the car to an early grave.

Stay tuned as more details about the incident emerge.

Let’s see the A6 was probably making a left at the light, probably didn’t do it quick enough, or just as they started too they saw the 650 and whatever other car coming up, they slam on the brakes half way through the intersection instead of flooring it, the 650 slams on their brakes but is too close and going too fast, they slam into the A6, the A6 gets sent spinning back from the way they came, the 650 bounces off them into the sidewalk. Other car dips because they were far enough back to come to a complete stop.

There’s also a witness saying they saw the 650 going well over 60mph.

I just hope the A6 driver makes a full recovery.

You’ve gotta add more to it, like “the almighty Corolla…” makes it easier to detect sarcasm.

No sympathy for road racers. Here’s hoping they get the guy who bolted and insurance refuses to pay out the guilty parties.
