When you’re lining your own vehicle up against the likes of the Tesla Model X, Bentley Bentayga and the Ferrari 488, you must be extremely confident in its performance.

We’re guessing that’s how EV startup company Faraday Future feels, as they’ve recently released this teaser showing their electric prototype getting ready to take on the previously mentioned cars in a series of drag races.

The company’s first electric vehicle is known to be an SUV rivaling Tesla’s own Model X, though as far as we can tell from this clip, it’s slightly smaller than the Model X and considerably smaller than the Bentayga in terms of height.

A few days ago, Faraday Future dropped a different teaser, depicting their prototype’s retractable LiDAR system, which is something we look forward to seeing in Las Vegas at the Consumer Electronics Show.

But if you’re more interested in performance at the moment, know that we also can’t wait to find out just how fast their EV really is. If its anywhere near as quick off the line as a Ferrari 488, or even the Model X in P90D form, it’s going to garner a lot of attention.
