Taking a Ford F-150 Raptor off-roading is a sight to behold but leaving a Raptor for dead in a lifted 1971 Dodge Challenger? Now, that’s something special.

A listing recently popped up on Craigslist for a Challenger 4×4 for sale in Fremont, California and it immediately attracted our attention.

The seller says that the off-road Challenger is welded to a 1977 M1009 military frame and chassis and powered by a 5.7-liter V8 engine with longtube headers and a custom Flowmaster dual exhaust system. To ensure the former muscle car can go rock climbing, it includes a custom transfer case, front locking hubs and Dana 60 straight axles. There’s also gigantic 33-inch BFGoodrich tires and high and low-range gears.

So, what’s the price for all this off-road goodness? The asking price currently sits at $30,000, a fairly reasonable figure considering the car has only been driven for 3,400 miles since being converted into this 4×4 monster. However, you’d have to a be a little eccentric to own it.
