We’re sure making commercials is difficult. Finding a way to interact with consumers and portray relative material is tricky. But Chevrolet has to be one of the worst with its “Real People, Not Actors” ads. The automaker’s latest commercial, though, is something we will enjoy watching over and over again.

Called, “Meet the Camaro Family,” the roughly two-minute long ad, as you’ve probably guessed it by now, is all about the Camaro. The video follows four drivers that are having a good time – maybe too much of a good time – behind the wheel of the entire Camaro family.

There’s a Camaro with the 2.0-liter turbocharged our-cylinder engine, or what we believe is the four-cylinder motor, a convertible with what sounds like the 3.6-liter V6, a Camaro SS with the 1LE Track Performance Package, and a ZL1.

The smart thing about the commercial is that the different Camaros are being driven in their intended locations. The driver in the convertible is cruising on a nice road, without a care in the world. The ZL1 driver is driving extremely quickly on a runway and the driver in the SS 1LE is enjoying a spirited drive on a windy road. Lastly, the driver behind the wheel of the four-cylinder-powered Camaro is hustling around a city.

Chevrolet, for once, has let the cars do the talking in the ad. The glorious roar of the V8 engines, the laid back feel of the road in the convertible, it all just comes together. It’s even a stark difference from what Lincoln and Matthew McConaughey have been doing recently.

The Camaro is one heck of a pony car and this commercial makes you want to go out there and buy one. Hopefully, Chevy moves towards making these kinds of ads for all of its vehicles and moves away from using real people.
