Watch Man Try To Stop Driver Fleeing Crash With A Sledgehammer!

Last Sunday, a four-car crash incident turned chaotic when one driver fled the scene, prompting bystanders and other drivers to try and stop him from doing so. One of them had a sledgehammer with him.

The silver Infiniti was trying to back up when people started yelling at the driver to stop, and others trying to open the doors of the heavily damaged SUV.

It was when the Infiniti entered a side street that one of the bystanders used a sledgehammer and smashed several windows of the car while others still try to open the doors of the still moving vehicle.

Eventually the damaged Infiniti found a path out of the traffic and the gathered pedestrians and fled the scene.

According to Miami Herald, the Infiniti driver then refused to stop for a patrol car and Miami police stopped the pursuit in accordance to the department’s policy on non-violent crimes. The 25-year-old driver was later arrested and it was revealed that he had a long history with law enforcement as he was ticketed 29 times in 10 years.

The 25-year-old Infiniti driver is charged with reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage and, according to his arrest report, appeared to “be high on narcotics”.

It’s my understanding that using a sledgehammer in such situations is quite acceptable… even encouraged.

    • LeStori

One criminal action deserves another. The American way…

  • Six_Tymes

“ticketed 29 times in 10 years”

and he still had a licence??? WTF?!

    • Jay

Yea they must have money. That thing starts at $45k. It has the newest grille so its a least 2017. Maybe they just keep paying there tickets or drives illegally.

      • BlackPegasus

Means nothing. Could’ve bought it from a chop shop or with dope money.

      • George O’Neil

Down here in Florida we have LOTS of lawyers, lots of traffic lawyers. You get a traffic ticket you can pay your lawyer and never have to see court. I’d have 3 tickets I think handled by different lawyers. I paid them over the phone, never went to court and went on my merry way.

  • rodriguez256

I had someone take off after they passed a red light and t boned me. Just bought the car five days prior and it was totaled after that. That truly sucks.

    • BlackPegasus

Sorry you had to experience the bottom feeders of humanity. This is why I refuse to carry a loaded gun in my vehicle. My emotions and low tolerance for reckless stupidity would land me in prison.

      • rodriguez256

I hear you on that. I had to push my car out of the intersection and sit and wait after I called 911 to make a report. Only one person stopped to see if I was ok, a long haired doctor riding a Harley in his scrubs lol. He also tried to catch up with the other day her but lost her. So I sat there for over an hour picking glass out of my arm waiting for any energy services. All because I was trying to do a good deed and get my coworkers something from Sonic before heading to work. I was pissed that day for sure.

  • benT

    can’t see walnut here !!
    ;?}

  • LWOAP

Definitely deserves to have his licence revoked. This moron had been given 29 tickets in the past 10 years and was high? Yeah, no, you don’t deserve to drive anymore.

Oh, and it’s in Florida……again. Just why?

    • Dr Strangefinger

I’m in Florida and have like 4 or 7 sledgehammers… 2 in my car right now. Serious s#*# bro!!!!

      • LWOAP

I can see why. You never know when you might need one. lol

  • thunder bolt

Forget sledgehammer, use your pry bar and spear into the tire, I think most drivers carry one in the trunk, I know I do.

    • BlackPegasus

      I think I’m buying a golf club this weekend…… and I don’t play golf 🤔

Tiger’s ex wife holds a class on proper car assault technique…when she is’nt flipping Palm Beach mansions.Look it up on Caigslist.

  • Why would anyone care this much…? Seems like a lot of effort from a lot of people for nothing.

    • BlackPegasus

They righteously believed they were going to see him held accountable for his recklessness. Little did they know of his 29 encounters with law enforcement prior to the crash. They will see little justice (if any at all).

    • salamOOn

The 25-year-old driver…was ticketed 29 times in 10 years…..appeared to “be high on narcotics”.

      yeah, its nothing.

      • They didn’t know about that… My point is that all these people chased down some idiot and almost got ran over for nothing.

  • SteersUright

Welcome to an ordinary day in Miami.

  • BlackPegasus

The system fails yet again. If 29 encounters with law enforcement over 10yrs wasn’t enough to keep him off the roads then how will this be any different?

  • Mmmm… Tacobell.

  • Harry_Wild

No cops come to scene. It like the the 1840s West, where law enforcement were done by the town people and farmers and ranchers. That why robbers formed gangs. A single bad guy no match for a group of rural citizens.

  • datCubanguy

So he is been given tickets since he was 15?…just give me a Cuban sandwich and I am out of here.

  • Emoto

    I love this.

  • Emoto

    STOP! HAMMER TIME!

    LOL…
