Following the release of the 2019 Civic Sedan and Coupe last month, Honda is preparing to start shipping the hotter Si models to dealerships.

Prices for the 2019 Civic Si Coupe and Sedan start at $25,195, including an $895 destination charge. That accounts for α $200 increase over the 2018 model year. Both the 2019 Civic Si Sedan and Civic Si Coupe bring mild updates compared to the 2018 model year, most of which focus on the interior.

You won’t notice any changes on the outside unless you’re an expert in Honda’s color palette. That’s because the only updates are two new paints called Platinum White Pearl and Tonic Yellow Pearl (exclusive to the Civic Si Coupe).

The cabin gets the lion’s share when it comes to enhancements, but don’t get your hopes up too high. After all, the latest Civic Si only debuted in May 2017.

The main addition to the interior is the updated Display Audio infotainment system. The refreshed interface includes a volume knob and physical buttons for key functions, as well as improved Bluetooth integration with easier device pairing.

Both Civic Si models also get more intuitive steering wheel controls, physical buttons for the climate control’s fan speed, an improved electronic parking brake switch and larger cupholders.

Another change over the 2018 model year is the fact that the summer tire package is no longer available from the factory, though it remains available as a dealer-installed option.

The powertrain is also the same, with both the two-door coupe and four-door sedan getting the same 205hp 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine linked to a six-speed manual transmission. Other performance features include a helical limited-slip differential and an adjustable two-mode adaptive damper system.

The 2019 Honda Civic Si Sedan and Coupe will be available at dealerships nationwide from November 1.
