It’s safe to say that the driver of this old Mercedes ML was less than inspired to attempt turning right in front of that bus. As a result, the SUV became stuck as the light pole was wedged between the wheel and the front end of the vehicle.
The incident took place earlier this week in Moscow, and was captured via dashcam for the entire world to see. It just goes to show how inconsiderate some drivers can be, assuming they can just turn whenever they please.
There’s also no sign of the bus driving hitting the brakes, but they may have been caught completely off-guard by that ML cutting in front the way it did. Still, we wouldn’t be surprised if the bus driver actually felt like the Mercedes deserved a light nudge, choosing to not even attempt to avoid making contact.
As for whether or not the punishment fit the “crime”, we’ll leave that up to you guys to decide. These “Instant Karma” type of videos can often be satisfying to watch precisely because you might get the sense that justice has been served, however in some cases, errors in judgement can be reprimanded a bit too harshly, such as when arguing with another driver leads to suddenly flipping your car over.
