Ford will start accepting orders for the new Escape plug-in hybrid next spring, but thanks to a leaked order guide, we already know how much it will cost.

Brought forward by CarsDirect, it reveals an MSRP of $34,235, including destination, for the base Escape SE PHEV, which promises an all-electric range of more than 30 miles (50 km).

This makes it $4,475 pricier than the hybrid model and $5,935 costlier than the non-electrified SE. The current lineup kicks off with the $24,885 S grade and tops up with the $33,400 Titanium, excluding destination.

The Escape plug-in hybrid will very likely offer similar (if not identical) levels of equipment as the regular versions. This means standard 18-inch aluminum wheels, LED head and taillights, rear privacy glass, SYNC3 infotainment system, heated front seats and a few other features in the entry-level trim.

Priced at $36,815, the SEL should add electrically operated tailgate, roof rails, front fog lamps, sportier seats and remote engine start. The Titanium will set you back at least $40,030 and will come with a Bang & Olufsen premium sound system, wireless charging pad for compatible smartphones, leather upholstery and 12.3-inch touchscreen display, among others.

A suite of driver assistance comes as standard, with every PHEV trim level getting automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot warning and auto high beams, as well as post-collision braking and pedestrian sound alert, while the top-of-the-line spec also adds park assist.
