One would think the 2017 Ford F-350 Super Duty’s payload capacity of 7,250 lbs (3,288 kg) would be enough for most users. Well, there are always going to be exceptions.

Since Ford trucks are known to take more punishment than officially advertised, one YouTube (of course, it’s always a YouTuber) owner decided to perform a torture test of his custom $100,000 F-350 truck and fill its aluminum bed with wet concrete. His target? 13,000 lbs (5,897 kg) or almost twice the pickup’s maximum payload.

Mind you, this was all done in the name of science (or clicks, take your pick), to prove that aluminum trucks are not weaker than steel trucks, as some people believe. One thing the following video proves is that’s not the case. It also proves that YouTuber WhistlinDiesel is nuts or very hungry for views (or both) to attempt something like this.

Overloading your pickup is known to have dangerous effects on components, particularly the suspension and frames which can break and bend. However, the vlogger was not afraid of that, quite the contrary. Something tells us he would have enjoyed it if the truck’s frame had snapped, as that would have generated even more views.

We say that because this truck is clearly not well looked after, quite the contrary. WhistlinDiesel has been trying to destroy it with all sorts of ridiculous stunts, all documented on YouTube, obviously. Now, if you imagine all this guy did was fill up the bed with concrete, you have too much confidence in the human race.

He did his best to break the truck, going as far as plowing a field with the loaded bed at high speed. We’ll leave you with the video now, unless you hate seeing perfectly fine vehicles being destroyed just for the sake of it. To add insult to injury, we’ve also added a video which shows the custom F-350 truck before any damage was inflicted upon it.
